There are two ways to buy books, CDs, DVDs, and art of special interest to Shalom Center members and friends:

1. The Shalom Center's SHOUK SHALOM -- our virtual market-place / bazaar like the legendary shops of the Lower East Side and the marketplaces of Jerusalem -- has these items in stock at discounted prices. These items can be ordered from Shouk Shalom by clicking here:
SHOUK SHALOM

• an amazing collection of songs and singers on a CD called "Sing Shalom!" that includes Pete Seeger, Peter Yarrow, Charlie King, Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi and Paul Horn in a duet on shofar and flute, Rabbi Shefa Gold, Rabbi Aryeh Hirschfield z'l, and many others;

• a double DVD – one, of the original pioneering Freedom Seder of 1969; the other, of the 40th-anniversary Interfaith Freedom Seder for the Earth, celebrated in Washington DC in the spring of 2009;

• Down-to-Earth Judaism, a history and spiritual handbook on Jewish practice during the past 4,000 years in regard to food, money, sex, and restfulness;

• Tales of Tikkun: New Jewish Stories to Heal the Wounded World, a collection of new stories by Rabbi Waskow and Rabbi Phyllis Berman, rewoven from old tales of Bible and Talmud seen from an eco-Jewish and women's perspective;

• a unique 2-volume anthology -- Torah of the Earth: 4,000 Years of Jewish Thought about Ecology;

• Becoming Brothers, a wrestle in two voices written with his brother Howard about the conflicts and reconciliations of brotherhood beginning in Baltimore of the 1930s.
