The threats of climate change impact people of every faith, nationality and political persuasion. I’m glad to see news that 250 Rabbis are in lock-step with Pope Francis when it comes to addressing climate change and environmental justice. I join them in celebrating the “Breath of Life,” and stand with them in the conviction that climate change cannot be ignored.

At <http://stateofbelief.com/segments/the-making-and-effect-of-the-rabbinic-letter-on-climate-crisis/> you can hear  an interview Welton Gaddy, head of the Interfaith Alliance, did with me last week that went on radio this weekend.

The Philadelphia Inquirer (page A-17) ran a full article (with photo) on the Rabbinic Letter on the Climate Crisis, connected to its article on the forthcoming papal encyclical.  It is on-line at <http://www.philly.com/philly/news/nation_world/20150614_Rabbis_issue_a_letter_on_climate_change.html
